This is a point that is not often talked about here. IOM is not on NASDAQ, and as a result has not had the dramatic price fluctuations it once had. Ever since it's move to the NYSE, it has lost the interest of momentum players, who are important in being able to create volatility, which can increase a stock price in a very short amount of time. This has created a frustration that explains the IOM stock movement today. Some investors pile in before earnings to try to cash in on a run-up, only to be disappointed when it fails. Today, the momentum players are leaving, and the IOM stock price is trading even at best.

Meanwhile, up and coming companies like Syquest (SYQT) are unveiling their new marketing campaign, attracting momentum players such as myself, and as a result SYQT stock is moving up, knocking on the door of $5. This comes after a $6+ run-up last week. The continued strength of SYQT stock at this price level is very bullish going into the Comdex season, and since we have already been at $6 recently, another venture into the that range will be inevitable very soon.

In short, SYQT stock has a glamour to it now. It is a smaller company with a bright future in a growing market segment. It is on the NASDAQ exchange, which is the haven of momentum players. It's products are reliable and fast with very large capacities. It will survive, and it's stock will thrive.

All aboard.
