That was very depressing. I have no idea how a normal person can possibly figure out what might be the best approach- if there even is a good one.

And that's why voters are so much happier with lipstick and mooseburgers. It gives them a feeling of being politically savvy without having to do the work. But who CAN do this work? We want to hope that our leaders do. But--

McCain has admitted he knows little about economics, and his FP is similar to Bush's. Earmarks, his big selling point, are a very small wart compared to the global problems we face. Palin has shown in her interviews that she has had in the past no inclination to even think about Iraq, much less the rest of the world.

Who DOES know then? At least Biden has years of FP and world knowledge to offer, and Barack has shown himself to be a listener and to look for expertise in his advisors. He has travelled and one would hope done some reading for his FP committee work.

I have no such faith that Palin can even pick out Georgia on the map.

Either one.

Ok, that was mean.

But the RW took Obama to task for getting the location of a WWII prison camp wrong and claimed he knew no history. I think it's fair for Palin to be judged on the gaps in her knowledge.
