The latest MacMall catalog's front cover shouts "FREE ZIP DRIVE!" and
then of course mentions "with any desktop or powerbook cpu purchase."
Its a white Epson model and its only free after the manufacturers and
MacMall mail-in rebates.

There are two ads for Zips on the front cover as well, one for the
same white Epson for $129.99 after rebate, and one for the blue Iomega
model for $149.99.

The back cover also shouts "FREE ZIP DRIVE!" and features a prominent
ad for the Jaz drive under a headline of "Iomega Special!" They make
a special mention that they've got them in stock.

I find it real interesting that this catalog is using Zips to help
move CPUs. Just another measuring point that tells me that the Zip
carries a certain cachet
