To the best of my knowledge, no one in the family had any serious injuries. I think only 2 served in country. One did come back jumpy to loud noises, which a few in his town thought was humorous until they decided the lumps and bumps they received were too much of a price to pay for watching his initial reactions to their pranks.

It is not a topic of much discussion amongst us and I can't remember a time where more than 3 of us have been together for any length in many years.

My service was as a east coast sailor, which pretty well precluded any V.N. duties. One of the cousins was a career officer in the Air Force. The rest, did their bit and got on with their lives.
