I will ask another question. Would a truly religious person lie in order to get what they wanted or to purposely make another person look bad? If so, they really can't be really religious in my book.

I sort of feel that McCain feels like he is Joe Boyd in Damn Yankees and has a way to get out of his deal with the devils in his campaign. Maybe we can work Palin in as Lola in some fashion.
