You know I went back and forth on this for over a year and finally the threat of the increased price pushed me over the edge to commit. I guess what helped is the State of Washington will not charge sales tax on "Alternative fueled vehicles" in 2009 and 2010.. a two year window. Plus it looks like the Feds will have a rather large tax credit for the same.

Will be interesting to see if it really passes Congress. I look forward to "fueling" it with my solar array. Tesla is coming to Seattle with a demo car for paid customers on the 26th, 27th and 28th. I have a test drive scheduled on the 26th here in Seattle. Will let you know my impressions. Delivery of my car here in Seattle is approximately August next year.
