Liberal lie. He did NOT say an "Obama win would be 'electrifying'", or anything remotely similar to that. What he said was --

"The election of an African-American president “would be electrifying, but at the same time [I have to] make a judgment here on which would be best for America."

He's torn. A black man, like the other 95% of blacks in America, wants to see a black man elected. To be honest, I'd like that, too. But you can't just stick ANY black man in office. It has to be someone who is qualified, and Powell obviously is saying he has some pretty serious reservations about Obama.

Ultimately, I'd wager he does what is right for the country, and supports McCain. I would be very, very disappointed in him if he put his blackness ahead of his country. He is better than that.
