They will not add up if we use conventional science as we understand it today. I'm not saying everything is knowable- if you think I said that, you misread my post, but you foreclosed the option of knowing- in other words, using your belief you say it will never be known. While that's possible, I don't see how one can make such a statement absolutely.

One can look down on faith for foreclosing things, as well as for believing in things that aren't there. FWIW I have no faith in what isn't demonstrably there, no do I have faith in what cannot be found. I leave open the possibilities.

Not that I look down on all faith. I'm quite satisfied with the Buddhists, who don't have any conflict in their cosmology with science (at least as the Dalai Lama articulates the faith).
