Robert and all,

The following is another benefit of VRD technology that hasn't been discussed much on this board. In the Sunday, October 19, 1997 Spokane Spokesman-Review is a pictorial article titled: Science Matters-Bionic Helpers, shown is one example: "Retinal Implant-Tiny microchips implanted in eye provide a crude form of vision for people blinded by retina disease", source: MIT Retinal Implant project. Also shown, projecting the image onto this retinal implant is a tiny camera mounted on the face of the glasses with the description, "Small video camera on user's glasses transmits image data into eyeball via a small laser." Unfortunately no mention or credit is given to Microvision.

Is the company actually working on a project with such wonderful health benefits to help those with poor vision? If so, one can only speculate on other amazing future inventions that await Microvision .

Any comments or insights?

Jan
