A lot of it was luck. I clearly had no clue and thought I might be leaving money on the table when I pulled the trigger. It was a small residual position held for the pure gambling fun of it. Since it yielded a reasonable profit given the time frame and since a bird in hand and all is a good cliche to follow, I was compelled to to simply sell despite some thought that since it was a for-fun position it should be allowed to run.
