Petreus's resignation is sure to get MAJOR attention and investigation. That will inform people and wake them up. It coincides with the Sunnis rebeling against the Shia led Iraqi govermnent. Only our 300 million a week bribes have been the bandaid keeping this thing together. It may unravel now. And Petreus sees the truth and chose the right time to bolt. He does not want to be blamed when it all falls apart.
