U.S. Senate deal struck on renewable energy tax credit. This time the extension will be for ten years. Emcore has major solar projects in the desert southwest that will go forward with this tax credit extension. This will add big revenues to Emcore's earnings reports. Also, EMKR has a lot of shorts, and with the SEC tightening naked shorting rules this morning, it must also be helping.
