they cannot be trusted as law makers are truly in their pockets. There's a definite unhealthy revolving door relationship between the congress and Freddy and Fanny. When Reps get sick of serving in congress or voted out of office there's always a cushy job waiting for them at one of the lenders. So, the dregs and burnouts of congress, that is, the current incompetent executives of both lenders are only too willing to give all the money they can to support mostly democrats who they know won't rock the boat on their good fortune.
