One thing to keep in mind with NG. Most of the production will be back up in the GOM within weeks, however, it seems platforms and such have been damaged and some may never return. So if we get some long-term outages of 2bcf or so heading into winter, that will be a huge hit to the year-over-year oversupply. the year-over-year oversupply has been estimated to be anywhere from 2-4bcfpd. so potentially in the most optimistic case, you could wipe it out completely. winter prices will most definitely be extremely strong if October is cool. the mother of all busts is looming on the other side, but weather will dominate the next few months. remember, a cold winter will produce prices in the $15-20 range.
