gongo, hard question. I'm guessing we'll have a whipsaw rally in the not so distant future, but the growth in equities (world wide) has slowed considerably...

The great wealth creator (the papermache valuations) has crumbled...

Look at where the market caps of AIG, LEH, FNM, FRE and many other stocks were in the fall of 2007 and compare them to the actual prices they're liquidating pieces of the falling companies for today...

Do you really think GOOG is worth $130 billion...lol...

AIG was worth $165 billion a year ago...worth $5 billion today

LEH was worth $43 billion...

Today they are liquidating for pennies of those figures...

Why is EBAY worth $25 billion today?

At it's high, it had a market cap of $60 billion...

The bear is back with a vengeance...
