Those who ignored us for so long are coming aboard, hopefully before the Titanic sinks.

1. Calpers and other state pensions are trying to organize and get members to not allow their shares in certain financial companies to be borrowed for shorting. They just realized that they were helping shorts kill the value of their assets. For this, they are paid millions of dollars in management fees.

2. SEC just announced that it was considering disclosure requirements for shorts similar to what is required for longs. Will they require disclaimers for paid bashers as is required for paid promoters? Oh yeah, "no such thing as....."

If this weren't so tragic, we could almost laugh.

Where are those self-styled cyber "sleupps" that are supposed to protect us?
