Volitility index stockcharts.com The link above is that of the volitility index. what I am trying to show on the chart is the fact that it is stuck in a range. This happened previously on the left side of the chart but for a long time frame. If symetry rules as is often the case we may see volitility moving within the yellow channel for a good while longer, This may be tradable event by buying the highs and selling the lows of the yellow channel, It is currently saying buy being it is at the top of the channel. Of course a breakout of this yellow box would be cause to realize that this line of thinking is incorrect and to take caution as it may start a trip to the upper buy zone.
