i read that one and did it a few years ago. what i would like to accomplish is get the grass to come up now before freezing and in the spring be able to use weed killer. if i had to wait till spring for the grass to come up then i have to avoid weed killer which is another problem. Last year in spring,, the year before oct and it was a mess with dead leaves. each time some takes of course but i have a tree line full of every kind of weed. only did the front lawn and let the rear fight for itself.. will skip seeding this year in the back since i am the only one who sees it and cuts it.
