And then there are many people who won't vote for him because he is black. Some, not many (in percentage terms, as I said about something other issue, in a nation of 300 million + people a very small percentage can still be a lot of people). The number who feels that it would be a great idea to have the first black president is much larger. Not all of those people will vote for him, but a lot will (of course some would have voted for him anyway).
