Ms. Bogart, NT makes no provision for laptops, does not include Plug-n-Play support, and has a VERY limited list of compatible devices. Windows 95 is a better solution for presentation graphics and computer-aided presentations in general. System admins may well upgrade from previous versions of NT to take advantage of the new Win 95 interface, but I fail to see how demand for a networking OS generates significant demand for the bulk of Diamond's product line. How many system admins are going to order a Diamond Stealth 3000XL without support for Direct 3-D integrated into Win NT 4.0? How many admins do you realistically expect to express an interest in ANY of Diamond Multimedia's products to begin with? Diamond has only one product that might be considered suitable for high-end professional use, the FireGL. Unfortunately, as noted by Ziff-Davis a few months ago, the FireGL is plagued by the same problem that afflicts ALL Diamond video cards, poor driver support and inept customer service. Jonathan
