You know. The Repubs were dead in the water, many not even planning to vote this year. Then, the Palin selection caught everyone's interest but only that,... until the feeding frenzy of mean girl types with vicious and unwarranted attacks on Palin, energising people to stand up and be recognized as supporters of decent and honorable candidates, which drove the phenomenon of Palin into a new movement eclipsing the earlier rally behind Obama. ... Then the economy took a catastrophic dive and this has shaken everything loose. The Repub momentum has been stopped as all eyes have turned to the economy. What next? Who knows.
