I know that I'm not the only one who is tired of hearing or reading about how its "not fair" for shorts to have to disclose their positions but that it is fair for this to be required of the longs. If your "secret formula" is blatant (ie illegal) manipulation of the trading in a stock-- whether its pump and dump or short and distort -- I can't see how this is anything like having COKE release their formula to the public. Once again, the crusaders for truth are asking for the truth to be hidden. The truth is that illegal actions are just that and its just too damn bad that these actions are being seen in the proper light. Its akin to someone complaining that they are being sent traffic tickets for running red lights at intersections that have newly installed cameras. "I've always been able to run the red light here and its not fair that they've installed cameras to stop my illegal behavior!" Yeah...right.
