There are rumours from China that each city will have a large data center which will deliver on-demand half hour programs to citizens. Only communistic countries can do such central planning. But in reality, ARRS Ir land is trying to design just such a data center for each CableTV plants. There will be three classes of servers. Data storage(half hour programming) of Raid 6 built around two netbooks(two inch square motherboards) and terabyte hdds. On-demand server built up from many USB flash cards(IPv6), one dedicated to each customer, also using netbook type mainframe computer architecture. Then, the last server type is the PBX edgeQam scanning channels that can be bonded to each customer's set-top box. Until then, ARRS servers will be slower than most competitors'. All servers will have data transferred by USB bus. USB bus will have edgeQam channel bonding all the way to set-top boxes.
