I was thinking about McCain's association with Keating many years ago. Keating was a capitalist but a crook. Does that association make McCain unfit for the presidency?

Going one step further with Palin. The fact that she is married to someone who, within the past decade, was part of a party that wanted to have Alaska secede from the union. Palin attended these meetings as well. By your comments, her association with this group should disqualify her from being on the ticket, don't you think? The fact that McCain could pick such a person, should that disqualify him as well?

Just some food for thought.
