Well, in business it is not uncommon to lose money for the first few years on an investment. This is the incubation period. GM is making a bet that oil prices will stay high for the foreseeable future and I think all the evidence points to that being a good bet. We can solve this problem with technology and we're already on our way. What surprises me most is that there are so many people that doubt our ability to electrify the car. That's like betting against the march of technology, as if technology is somehow staying stagnant. That's a really silly bet.
