IMHO, if Obama himself is doing it, the defining, he is only bringing himself down to their level and if he does that McCain wins.

Furthermore, one cannot just all of sudden become someone else in the debate then who he was on the campaign trail. People will start wondering who you are---which was both Gore and Kerry's problem.

Obama has got to play to his strength--which is his brain power.
