It was a very furry little alien-perhaps from one of the colder planets?
We still don't know what it was-Ammo wanted to go get it out of the garbage and do an autopsy the next day, but we vetoed that idea. Told him that it might be carrying bubonic plague.
There are probably dead things under all our beds. Our bedrooms may be a veritable graveyard for small animals with little burial mounds of dirty socks and t-shirts forming around the bodies. I never look. And I certainly won't now.
