In looking at the expiration date of this, it is one day after october expiry, and they pulled this stunt on expiration day. this was done to avoid a complete blow up in the derivatives market and to give people a weekend to consider their positions.

There is another cat or two in this bag. I'm going to be nibbling today with some speculative Put sells, but I'm willing to bet the bailout plan don't make it out until after the close.

They saw what happened with LEH and AIG. They wanna figure out how to keep themselves in office, reward their cronies and *$crew* as many as possible. ;-)
