Obama's first proposal raised taxes on those earning as low as $42,000 per yr. As with all other issues, he switched the plan after perceiving a negative backlash, and now claims he'll raise taxes on only those earning $250,000. It's a crock--there's no way he can afford gov run healthcare and all his other socialist programs by taxing only a narrow segment of the US population. No doubt Obama would revert to his original agenda if he were ever given the chance to do so.
