lbj guns nad butter approach to vietnam war I think LBJ was a disaster for the country. There were good things that happened during that time but many were underway with or without Johnson. The same with Reagan, there were good things that happened at that time, but for the most part he offered up feel-good platitudes and and an attitude that the future is not something you have to worry about, just borrow another billion and enjoy it now.
