Funny, from everywhere I hear that oilstocks are strong these days, but both my oilies (GEOI and NORT) are going down the drain. In fact, both went down from the moment I bought them.

I blame myself of course - I should have stayed with what I know about - tech stocks. Instead i fell for the typical hype here on S.I. and bought on "advise" from those whose intention one never know.

What is wrong here? Why are all other oilstocks hitting it off, while these two slumbers of into nothingness? Are these just losers and should I quickly offload them and cut my losses, or are we just in a slump waiting for some/any news?
