To quote the Republican Governor of Texas... "We expect FEMA's responses to be as good or equal to the treatment provide Louisiana during Katrina.." The storm hit Friday night...one week ago tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in a fairly decent "neck of the woods"...but as of today I have no power and no drinkable water......so just imagine what the people on Galveston Island are going through....thanks FEMA! I live 70 miles from Galveston...and the earliest time frame they give for restoring my utilities is "maybe" next week. That is the reason I haven't responded to the posters here on SI....I'm in Cleveland headed down to Columbus for the OSU game tomorrow. Mark it down....I will respond to the lemming that believe in the direction our country is going......that is if I have electricity when I return next week...
