Other Stuff You guys are much nicer than the bunch at the compaq thread. I got into a discussion on death in the family with someone whose mom is dying and was told to shut up and keep on the subject of compaq! To be fair though, a couple of other people said the writer was rude and that they were interested in the discussion. Anyway here is a couple of teacher jokes. Although we dont need them as much today as Friday. 1. A third grade teacher told her class on the first day of school "If any of you need to go to the bathroom, just hold up two fingers". A little boy on the back row said "I dont see how that is going to help a bit" 2. A new teacher, trying to make use of her psychology courses, started her class by saying "everyone who thinks you're stupid, stand up". After a few seconds little Johnny stood up. The teacher said "Do you think you're stupid johnny?" "No ma am " he said, but I hate to see you standing up there all by yourself. How does one buy stocks at the low? everytime I buy something it goes down before it goes up and I wish I waited! Freeus
