This board is one of the few boards that I've been able to find that mentions VTOPF.PK and talks about investing into Vietnam. At least for me I'm relatively heavily invested (or maybe gambled) into Vietnam through VTOPF.PK and CVIC.OB. I have to say though that I "gambled" into India and China after visiting the two countries in person and being very impressed. It's paid off even with this recent collapse in the markets. So far I'm down a bit but that just made me put in a bid for more VTOPF, although due to the low volumes I think I won't get a bite at 1.60. For the average investor, I think it's difficult to invest into Vietnam since there's so few investment choices. Anyone familar with Cavico? Are they a fly-by-night company or are they worth holding on to for the long term? I'm a bit worried since I haven't had a chance to visit Vietnam/Hanoi yet to see if it's all real or just a scam.
