Pretty much since the late 70's there has been a wealth "redistribution program" from the middle and lower classes to the upper class. Makes the country weaker Steve, people don't feel they have a stake in our communal success.

Where do you guys get the idea you have the right to confiscate money from hard-working, successful people and give it to those who are less hard-working and less-successful?

This is fitting for China or the former USSR. It is not what this country was built on. If that's what you want, don't you think you should just go where that is the way things work, rather than screwing up OUR system with methods that have failed elsewhere?
