Some more facts

INTC does not own the high ground of the CPU market. They own the high and middle ground of the PC market. I'm not arguing no acceptance of Intel's PII line. Its pretty clear Intel has to make a market for this product versus the situation with the introduction of the Pentium given the glut of processors out there and products.

(re: no acceptance, this is the usual distortion of an argument you find with Engel---he still doesn't seem to understand that ziltch refers to the low end processor margins not Intel's overall margins and if he can produce some numbers to show me those margins are not ziltch I would be happy to have them)

As to hearing the arguments before and "ad nauseum". These arguments have to be examined each and every quarter unless all you are looking for here is moral support for your investment decisions and not facts.

So have Engel put up or shut up. Give me THE FACTS on the profit margins for Intel's product line? Anyone?
