Have you noticed the news sources are cramming down our throat the SEC is ending "SHORTING"? They don't say "ILLEGAL SHORTING". Which is way different. They want to get people confused about the two. Rather they don't want people to know there's been 2 forms of "SHORTING" "NAKED SHORTING-FAIL TO DELIVER, NEVER HAD, NEVER BORROWED. "SHORTING". Borrowing shares from some place with total intentions win or lose those shares will be purchased back. The stock is open and the short reported and the trade made the stock is going to go down and wants to make a bit of money on his/her intuition. The stock exists in this case. IN "NAKED SHORTING" they don't bother finding any stocks. Big Difference. Our news sources sure distort the truth. I wish people, TONS OF PEOPLE" would start writing they want the people who stole the money to pay. Force them to

And that's WITH reporting standards. Imagine what could have happened with Lehman, short, without them.

So..... we're discussing NAKED shorting in this thread. You're discussing plain old shorting. Please go find some other thread. Thanks.
