That's the one. We had lunch out front on the sidewalk with our dog.

We were in Alaska when that show was active. For a long time I resented that it wasn't really Alaska they were depicting, but after a while I started to like the characters and the funny vignettes.

The town Roslyn is a little like Alaska towns amd a little like other mining towns who have gone tourist. Wallace Idaho and Virginia City, MT, for example. You can still see the spoil piles from the mines laying around.

The coal they had in the display looked very high quality, but I don't know if it was local coal.

The vegetation is a ponderosa pine type. I can't quite get over that disparity as a forester. Alaska has nothing like it at all.

"Corner Gas" is a new one on me. I guess I'll have to look it up. imdb.com
