just in in-tray astonishing - i hear the talking heads on TV now argue that 'it is government's job to do this' and the prize quote probably was 'it's better to have communism than financial armageddon'. let's forget about all that 'free market ideology' another one chimed in. and another one assuring everybody that 'we have no choice', yada yada. good grief. maybe someone should point out to them that the crisis is not a 'failure of capitalism' as they all seem to believe, but a failure of the fractionally reserved, and centrally planned, fiat money system?
