Yep... as I said, FNM and FRE being started in the first place obviouly is a factor... BUT, Republicans privatized that whole thing and then DEREGULATED it.

There's a huge difference between FNM giving poor folks loans they don't really "deserve" and buying Trillions in loans IN THE OPEN MARKET!! Almost aLL of what they owned has nothing to do with low income people or having to give them loans... that is completely idiotic. They insured TRILLIONs of normal loans originated by normal mortage brokers ((oh sure, deregulated of course!)) all across the country.

You guyz gotta wake up. This is obviously much bigger that all that, anyone can see that and to keep harping on FNM is simply biased against Dems... looking for a scapegoat.

FURTHER... if FNM HAD NEVER BEEN FORMED banks would be failing right and left JUST LIKE THEY ARE NOW.

Plain and simple... and NO body who knows anything about this would say different.
