Hello Markus, perhaps you need a beginners course that deals with anti-competitive tactics in the Western world. The Ford example you give or the option to purchase another O/S is not a good comparison to what MSFT is doing with budling IE with Win 95 etc..

WIN 95 is the dominant O/S in most hoseholds. With that being the case, MSFT can virtually bundle any free software with it and make it the next household name. In the process, they could put out of business companies like Netscape and that will in turn affect thousands of workers.
Do you know anything about the breakup of AT&T ? Take a look at why it was split up into many pieces....perhaps then you will understand the issues at hand.

I admire B. Gates and believe he deserves every penny he has earned...but there has to be a limit. Putting another company out of business by providing free software upfront is not a good business practise. At some point Mr. Gates is going to start charging for I.E and with NSCP out of the way, the price he sets is his own. Competition is good for the marketplace.....communism is not.

Have you ever lived in a communist country ? It is not pleasant.
