I can't see how the dollar could go up on the bailout news. At the same time, I don't think some countries would want the dollar to tank too quickly or too much since export countries like China would be hurt. So other countries may start cutting interest rates and purchase US treasuries in order to keep pace with the declining dollar. But who the heck knows in these markets when 1 + 1 = 3. I just would like to see gold trade above 850 from here on and rise gradually.

The market last week was crazy. But there has been unprecedented
market events too.
