but Obama spoke to my 'religion' in that forum with that religious guy, and the buzz was that McCain won cause he said 'defeat evil'. Now, I could go into the theological reasons that was a wrong statement but will refrain, but O's words of 'humility' were on track. It is the Anglo-Saxon war god in all 'his' glory, not nothing to do with Jesus. ooops, I did just say something. But I think O resonated with more than people realize. The talking heads love a man in uniform. The neocons love war. The onward christian soldiers don't get their peaceful Jesus who wouldn't attack Rome and still want war. so be it. It will come thru in this election. The warmongers really are the minority. but they are loud and mean and have cowed people. People who say they are Christain need to decide if they are for the war god or the Jesus of charity who was given water, who was saved by the 'bad' Samaritan. It is time they decide if they are for war or for the Lamb. sorry, it was your post got me started on that spiel. another sheepish smile.
