Ok Cheeky...you win. I will desist from the really offensive posts against the military like the last one. They are probably insensitive but please try to consider my background. The Vietnam war era ruined my life. I helped organize anti-war demonstrations when I was living in Calif at the time over 40 years ago before I became Canadian. I'm almost 60 now. I don't see things as being much different now. I had friends killed over there for nothing at all.

I'm NOT an enemy of the USA or anyone. I do NOT like the neocons and their using young lives to carry out their wars with the obvious plan to dominate the world and run things their way....whether or not their way is proven the best way...and so far it isn't.

Anyway, I like my SI acct and actually have lots to offer on investment threads and I like to believe that I think out of the box on many topics including politics, and yes while I am very jaded and and cynical, many others enjoy what I bring here even if 2/3rds don't. Can't see this as a reason to go hunting after someones account.

Furthermore if CD Ride the Tiger Dave wants me on ban it's his call. Did you even know that he and I are actually friends in person and I have been to his house many times and we went for walks together almost daily for awhile?

There is more to this banning than you realize. That doesn't mean he and I aren't friends. I talk to him on the phone about once a week. We respect each other
