Bernard, TXN is second only to SGS in Mixed Signal and Analog IC sales.

To say TXN has << some analog design activities >> is like saying that INTC has a little experience with microprocessors. Most of TXN's sales are into large OEM accounts so they do not have a highly visable presence in distribution based Analog component sales. TXN's mixed signal activities are also growing at twice this segments growth rate, anyway thats the position according to Mercury Research.

As for a stock based buyout, I don't think so. TXN has over $3B cash on hand and no history of using it's stock in a buyout.

Personally I just want MLIN to live up to its own potential.
