Commercial Real Estate Weekend Observation The plus side for all these big box places cutting back stores or completely bankrupting is that this year I have seen a bubble in Halloween Costume Supply stores occupying the vacant spots in San Diego. At least the property owner can assure at least some rent from September through October. On the other hand, this tells that they feel no one is eager to move in for the Christmas selling season, because the change-over would be tight between Halloween and Thanksgiving.
