Given the "massive" nature of the mineralization and the limited history of the area , they probably wouldn't routinely assay for Pt or Pd on the first pass. They would only be looking for the levels of Ni and Cu as fast as possible. The Ag, Au, Pt and Pd levels in the DFR ore are uniformly low unlike most of the ores in Sudbury. Co assays from DRZ appear to be in about the same ratio as the Ni/Co ratio at DFR. So it looks like they were expecting a mineralogy similar to DFR type ores. It would be a good idea to assay for all precious metals but it is not that important right now as the gross value of this zone is off the scale. They are focused on the right elements at this time.
