We had a state legislator here who, as his first act after being elected, wrote a bill that required Little League umpires to have their eyes checked annually. Just authoring a bill, and certainly co-sponsoring one, is not the kind of thing that qualifies a person for the presidency -- and really cannot even be seriously called an "accomplishment". After 20 years of it, maybe. But not in 143 days. Be serious.
