Don, I don't get it. MSFT has a float of around 740 Millions shares. So, I get 1 penny per 7.4 days. MSFT just made 72 cents this quarter. If everything is flat and MSFT has to pay the fine, the effect is (90/7.4) ie: 12 cents for next quarter. It hurts but it's not a big deal. MSFT has billions of deferred earnings. Also, I doubt the earning is FLAT. Even I have to buy a new PC this X'mas.
