I'm surprised that they are holding the Treasury Reserve MMF, it had no Lehman paper in it. It must have had a run on it as well.

It was my understanding that they will hold your money for 7 days after a redemption request, the hold isn't indefinite and they will be giving you 96 cents on the dollar for the Prime Reserve MMF.

I took a good look at half a dozen MMFs and all of them had Lehman paper. Unless those funds dumped Lehman paper between the last AR and the Lehman BK, they all took a hit on Lehman.
